Pendarvis House, a limestone-block home of the early miners on Shakerag Street has been lovingly preserved in Mineral Springs, Wisconsin, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

An internationally collected artist, photographer and illustrator of the popular children's book "My Very Own Name", Mark Mille has been creating beautiful images for decades. His original oils and pastels are in corporate, private and museum collections across the country and abroad.
